A silver salmon about 10lbs. We caught our

limit (2) each day. Returned with 45lbs of

filleted salmon each.

LegoLand!

LegoLand has 7 mini-cities that are built from Lego's. NYC, Washington DC, New Orleans, SF, Las Vegas.... They include 700 buildings using 20 million Lego's.

Mathias is 5 and drove the electric cars first with the 3-5 year olds. He did well enough that I told him "If you can remember to say "6" when the ride attendent asks, you can try the older (6-13) kids ride. He drove with them several times and did great.

Here is Mathias in the "Big Kids" cars. They have lanes they must stay in, traffic lights and stop signs to obey.

Mathias's first waterslide by himself. Had to bribe him to get wet at all. Went 10 times first with grandma. Then 20 times by himself.

We are on a glass bottom boat out of Lahinia, Maui. The boys enjoyed it but Beckam was scared of the boat's scuba divers. Mathias is using his "fish guide" to identify fish.

I was hoping he would be jumping from pool edge after a week here. He was doing it after 24 hours. What next? Back flips?

Kathy and I and Kathy's mom Dolores, went to Egypt for two weeks. One spent exploring in Cairo area and one on a riverboat cruise on the Nile. Egypt has a history dating back 5000 years.

We took Mathias and Beckam to Great America. Mathias and his parents were in San Jose for Beckam's 2nd birthday.

We ice skated at night, outside in Truckee before Christmas. Mathias had fun and is now taking lessons at home.
